The Counseling Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church is staffed with master’s level professionals who are committed to combining Biblical truth with clinical skills. We work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families, and it is our goal to help our clients achieve spiritual growth as well as improved emotional and mental health. Some of the issues we cover are: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, divorce, relationship and marital struggles, parenting, infidelity, addictive behavior, codependency, and aging. We believe that these and other problems can affect a person spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally. We make referrals to other professionals in our community as needed.

Our counselors are licensed in North Carolina, having completed a master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy. As a way of advocating for the field of Christian counseling, we have an intern on staff who receives close supervision as he/she completes the requirements for licensure.

Clients are assessed in the first appointment after completing an intake information sheet. Counseling sessions last for fifty (50) minutes and are limited to eight to ten sessions per client. Appointments are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Although there is no fee for this service, our ministry welcomes and greatly appreciates donations.

At this time, we are only able to meet with our church members or regular attendees. Please call to schedule as assessment: 714-5413 or email counseling@calvarynow.com for more information.
